Dossier: The State of Media in Italy: A European problem

European Alternatives has just publishes a Dossier on the state of Media Freedom and Pluralism in Italy, concluding that the circumstances of lack of pluralism and evidence of media intimidation in Italy collectively constitute a breach of the fundamental values of the European Union. This report presents these facts collected from independent reports, and argues that a European reponse is necessary to a situation which sets a dangerous precedent for media freedom both inside and outside the Union.
