The City and the Common

Sunday 25 October, 2:30-3:30pm Part of This is Not a Gateway Festival Main Hall of the Kobi Nazrul Centre on Hanbury Street Free Entrance The event introduces crucial themes from the project Polis 21, a series of transnational interventions and discussions run by European Alternatives over the month of November in Athens, Zagreb and Belgrade. The themes touched by the salon will be: the way multiple political and cultural factors determine forms of urban exclusions and externality; the potentials for artistic intervention in public spaces regarding forms of exclusions; the potentials for a transnational ‘commons’ and its relations to the urban. A complimentary copy of our magazine will be offered to all those attening. All welcome, audience interaction welcomed!
