Aliénor Daumalin: I'm 23 years old and have always been curious about cultural differences and in love with languages. After a few years away from France and a Master's degree in literary translation at the ITI-RI in Strasbourg, I now work as a project manager in a translation agency in the South of France. I started learning German, Spanish, Greek and Japanese and enjoy translating from English to French during my free time.
Anaïs Deleau : I am Anaïs, 21, and I currently study at ISIT, a French translation and intercultural management school. I have always been interested in foreign languages to be able to communicate and understand people with different culural backgrounds.
Julie Jarnoux: I am 22 years old, After getting a degree in foreign languages (English, Spanish and Japanese) at the Catholic University of Angers, I started studying at the Translation and Intercultural Communication School (ISIT) in Paris. I am currently on exchange in Alicante in Spain. I have always been very interested in European affairs and would love to add more European languages to my portfolio.
Kirsten Williams: I am a student at the University of Leeds, studying French, German and Spanish. Currently I am spending a year in Heidelberg, Germany, having studied in Lille and worked in Normandy. I am a convinced Europhile and I have a passion for politics and culture.
Lavinia Negrila: Limba mea maternă este româna, iar pentru limba franceză deţin autorizaţie de traducător. În anul 2009 am absolvit Facultatea de Litere (română-franceză) la Universitatea din Craiova, apoi am urmat un Master în Comunicare şi Relaţii Publice. De 3 ani lucrez ca traducător colaborator pentru agentii de traduceri din România şi îmi doresc să fac "carieră" în acest domeniu.
Marta Molino: I’m 24, I’m getting my binational franco-italian master degree in International Sciences and I’ve been attending university both at Sciences Po Bordeaux and at the University of Turin, by changing State every year since the beginning. I love speaking and learning foreign languages, and I’m keen on translating. I translate from German, French or English into Italian.
Maxence Salendre: 23 ans. Bilingual (English and French), graduated with a BA in communications and translation from the Catholic University of Lyon, France I am now studying for an MSc in Political Science in Trinity College Dublin. Focusing on the European Union, I enjoy translating about new alternatives for the EU with European Alternatives. Stagii de traducere la distanță
Stagiarii noștri la distanță vor avea de tradus minimum 3 articole pe lună, toate traducerile le vor fi atribuite pe site-ul nostru, iar biografia lor va apărea pe pagina noastră de internet, ca și colaboratori. European Alternatives va pune la dispoziția lor un coordonator de stagiu, care le va oferi aprecieri asupra muncii lor, incluzând corectări ale fiecărei traduceri. Stagiile se întind, în general, pe o perioadă de 3 luni (cu minimum 100 de ore de traducere), dar ne putem adapta cerințelor în caz de nevoie. European Alternatives poate furniza o Convenție de Stagiu și un certificat la sfârșitul stagiului, incluzând aprecieri privitoare la munca depusă. Un stagiu la distanță furnizează studenților posibilitatea de a-și crea un portofoliu de traduceri publicate.
Adeline Monnin: 22 years old. I am currently completing a Master's degree in translation at the ITI-RI in Strasbourg. I am French and I can translate from English to French and Spanish to French. I am also highly interested in Russian language, which I started to learn last year, and I enjoy studying it when I have some free time. What I really love about translation is the fact that it allows me to discover different cultural backgrounds. Moreover, it is a way to give information to people who would not have access to it without a translator and I love this idea of doing something useful.

I am French and currently studying Translation and Intercultural Communication at ISIT school, in Paris, although at the moment I'm staying in Forlì, Italy, thanks to the Erasmus programme. I study English and Italian, as you may have guessed. I can translate from English to French and from Italian to French.

Lara Pozzobon: 22 years old, I recently graduated (Bachelor Degree) at the Advanced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators in Trieste, Italy, and now I am living and working in London. I can speak fluently Italian, French (I also lived in France, Marseille, for 8 months), English and Spanish.

Matthew Lye: I am currently studying a Masters in Translation Studies at London Metropolitan University. I graduated with a BA in Combined Languages (French, Spanish and Italian) from the University of Hull in 2008 and worked for three years in customer service and sales for an international computer brand before moving to London in 2011. As part of my Masters degree I am developing specialisms in localisation and business translation.

Specializarea mea fiind Limbile Moderne Aplicate (Franceza - Engleza), am absolvit cursurile masterale de Traducere si Interpretariat de Conferinta din cadrul Universitatii Transilvania (Braşov). Ma straduiesc sa devin un bun traducator si interpret, pentru a imbunatati competentele lingvistice dobandite in sfera limbilor straine invatate, mai exact limbile franceza, engleza si spaniola. Obiectivul meu este sa devin un profesionist in acest domeniu, mereu tinand seama de faptul ca „limitele ‚limbajului meu’ sunt limitele lumii mele”.
