Stand as candidate to the board of EA!

European Alternatives has been in existence for a few years now and the organisation is growing. In order to keep the organisation effective and transparent we are establishing a formal structure.
All members are invited to vote for their two representatives to the board! At the end of September all members (http://www.euroalter.com/network/join/)will receive an email with an invitation to vote for their two favorite candidates to represent the members to the board.

Stand as a candidate

Any member of the Transeuropa Network is invited to stand as a candidate. You don’t have to be part of the Network for a long time or to be active in a local group. The only important criteria are commitment and enthusiasm!
If you are interested to be a candidate for the elections of representatives of members of the Transeuropa Network, please send an email with a short presentation (max 300 words, please attach a nice photo) of yourself and of your qualities as a representative to amsterdam@euroalter.com before September 16th.

Your responsibilities

Representatives of members of the Transeuropa Network are an essential element in the new structure of European Alternatives, because they guarantee that the organisation works genuinely bottom up. These members of the Board will have the opportunity to have an overall view of what goes on in European Alternatives and to meet regularly (at least four times a year) in different cities in Europe. They should consult members on different topics, make sure their initiatives, concerns, questions or interests are taken into account when voting on the Board and keep them informed on decisions that have been made and on topics that have been raised.
