European Alternatives is first and foremost as a transnational community of activists. The organisation was started with the ambition of bringing together people who want to create a better Europe for a better world. We are delighted that more and more people are bringing their energy, ideas and hard work to the organisation.

Become an activist: Join European Alternatives

A transeuropean network of activists working for a new, genuinely transnational European politics and culture. Decide the priorities for European Alternatives, vote on themes and elected positions, take part in local activities, and much more! 

Help us translate

We would not be able to publish content in English, Italian, and French both online and in print without the hard work of our transnational volunteers. If you think you can help us translate and spread the message beyond language barriers, or if you would like to do a translation internship with us, this is your section.

European Alternatives is a non-profit, bottom-up citizens' organisation. All our activities are free and open to all and promote the values of democracy, equality, and culture transnationally, contributing to building up an engaged trans-european polity. 

Write for us

Contributions to our website and magazine are activist in nature. We are interested in exploring what can be done at a transnational level to tackle some of the most urgent cultural and political problems today.
