The number of elderly people in the world, particularly in Europe, increases quickly.
The ageing of the population is by now an international phenomenon, with all the problems connected to this increase: healthcare system, help to the workforce, an active and prepared social system.
Nowadays people with more than 65 years old represent around 17 % of the European population, with Italy, Germany and Greece on the top, and it is expected to be the 45 % within 2050.
